The destroyer of Jerusalem, beloved by Rome
In Rome, Titus Flavius Vespasianus was born, the eldest son of the future Emperor Vespasian. He would command the Roman legions that besieged and destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, an act commemorated on the Arch of Titus.
