Julia Drusilla, the daughter of the popular general Germanicus, was born into the most celebrated family in the Roman Empire. She would become the favorite sister of Emperor Caligula. Her death in 38 AD drove Caligula to grant her posthumous divine honors, the first Roman woman to receive such distinction.
